We went to the house today to install our clothes line and were delighted that a lovely cleaner let us into the house to have a look around and take a few pics. The fence is down, our appliances and electrical items are fitted and the living area tiling is done. The rectified tiles look great and give a concrete look, without the mess! I am so happy with how everything is coming together! The kitchen is beautiful and definitely my fav! The carpet is to be installed tomorrow and shutters on Thursday, with talk of PCI being the 24th!
We dropped by the house today to see the kitchen splash back installed and the internal and external painting completed. We are really happy with how all the colours are coming together, which is a relief as it is so hard to pick from samples. We are nearing the finish line now, with internal fit out and flooring coming up in the next couple of weeks.
We had another viewing of the house on Monday to see the wet room tiling, and were very impressed to see the kitchen bench tops installed and the ceiling painting started.
Today we had a meeting on site with our site supervisor to double check our tile delivery. We also got to see our kitchen and home theatre cabinetry installed. It is looking awesome! Sorry for the grainy pictures -my phone storage is full. The next week or so will be wet room tiling, then its time for the painters.
Yesterday we were very excited to see that our surfmist garage door had been installed and all the kitchen cabinetry, bathroom cabinets, home theatre cabinetry and doors had been delivered. It's going to be a very exciting week next week! The wet areas also had their first coat of waterproofing.
We popped by the house this weekend to see that cornices had been installed through the house. Makes such a difference! Next up, kitchen install, garage door and then an appointment to check tiles. We've been given a tentative completion date of mid-October, so hopefully not long now!
It is hard to take good pictures of the roof! The photo from the back is probably the best representation of the colour. I was a bit worried choosing Wallaby as I'd heard people say it throws green, however, I am really happy with it - a perfect warm grey. Staring to look like a real house now! Electrical walk-through next Monday.
Despite the strong winds this week, most of our roof has been completed. The inside of the house seems so dark now, although it was very overcast when we drove past. Not a very good picture, but I will try to get another one on the weekend.
